-- TO MY FRIENDS --
Let's make a point of sticking to the ending times of meetings
and other activities to plan things,
by having value creative discussions with focussed objectives.
Let's make our gatherings inspiring and encouraging
so people can go back home feeling:
"Yes, I'm going to try! I know I can do it!"

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"More valuable than treasures in a storehouse are the treasures of the
body, and the treasures of the heart are the most valuable of all.
From the time you read this letter on, strive to accumulate the
treasures of the heart!"
(The Three Kinds of Treasure - The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin,
Vol.1, page 851)

—— DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"In Buddhism, good actions or causes are likened to roots, and thus called 'roots of goodness,' which will produce good effects or reward.
"In praise of one of his female followers, the lay nun of Kubo, Nichiren Daishonin writes: 'When roots are deep, the leaves will not wither…. How deep are the roots of your faith!' (WND-2, 755). The lay nun, who had overcome the grief of losing her husband to illness, raised her young daughter on her own and withstood the harsh attacks that assailed the Daishonin's followers during the Atsuhara Persecution.
"In another letter, the Daishonin assures the lay nun of Kubo that because of all the good causes she has made, her deceased husband undoubtedly attained Buddhahood, while her daughter would surely enjoy a happy life and be admired as a worthy child of her parents in the future. He was also overjoyed to see that the lay nun's daughter was steadfastly following her on the path of faith (cf. WND-2, 816)."
