The real test of a system of thought or philosophy is whether it offers a way to deal directly with the inner problems we encounter in our struggles with life's countless vicissitudes, a method to solve them, and a way to transform our actions and the reality of our daily lives.

Mahatma Gandhi (1869–1948) said: "I can indicate no royal road for bringing about the social revolution except that we should represent it in every detail of our lives."[1]

The true essence of religion lies in enabling individuals to realise a transformation in their hearts and in their actual lives.

The only way to truly transform society, to establish the correct teaching for the peace of the land, is for each person to work through the process of confronting their actual problems in life and to transform their life condition.
