-- TO MY FRIENDS --
Those who win at the beginning of their day are
victors in both kosen-rufu and their own lives.
Let's start each day off, full of energy,
by doing morning gongyo and chanting daimoku!
Today again, let's step up to the plate,
and leave no regrets behind!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"It is said that, if a teacher has a good disciple, both will gain the fruit of Buddhahood, but if a teacher fosters a bad disciple, both will fall into hell. If teacher and disciple are of different minds, they will never accomplish anything."

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"'From the beginning, I pursued my studies because I wanted to master Buddhism and attain Buddhahood, and also to save the people to whom I am indebted.'
- From "Banishment to Sado" (WND-1, 202).
"Studying the essence of Buddhism enables us to develop a vast state of life, and gain the capacity to help those around us become happy. Buddhist study in the SGI is in exact accord with the Daishonin's spirit in this passage.
"When youth develop into wise and understanding leaders through studying and practising the humanistic philosophy of Nichiren Daishonin, peace and prosperity will expand further.
"I hope that the efforts all of you are making to study the world's supreme philosophy will bring about even greater joy in your practice, a joy you cannot wait to share with others!"
