What kind of results we want to see in the future
depends on the causes we're making right now.*
If we resolutely chant daimoku for whatever
goals and targets we're aiming to achieve
and courageously take all the necessary actions,
it is absolutely certain that a path will open up.
With strong unshakable determination let us march on!

"Amid intensifying harassment by the authorities, Mr. Makiguchi underlined a passage from the Daishonin's writing 'Many in Body, One in Mind' in his personal copy of the Gosho: 'Though evils may be numerous, they cannot prevail over a single great truth, just as many raging fires are quenched by a single shower of rain. This principle also holds true with Nichiren and his followers' (WND-1, 618).
"My friends, summon forth the same lionhearted spirit as Mr. Makiguchi and Mr. Toda!
"With our unshakable unity, there is absolutely no tribulation that we cannot overcome.
"Now is the time to demonstrate our invincible, ever-victorious spirit to always triumph in the end!
"Advance fearlessly! Together with me!"
