-- TO MY FRIENDS --
Let's share this hope-filled philosophy
with as many people as we can,
courageously and with confidence!
Our earnest and sincere caring words
(for the sake of their happiness)
will become seeds of friendship.
And, without fail, those "seeds"
will blossom and bear fruit

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"'Now, no matter what, strive in faith and be known as a votary of the Lotus Sutra, and remain my disciple for the rest of your life. If you are of the same mind as Nichiren, you must be a Bodhisattva of the Earth.'
- From 'The True Aspect of All Phenomena' (WND-1, 385).

"We of the SGI, who strive for kosen-rufu with the same mind as Nichiren Daishonin, are all Bodhisattvas of the Earth.

"Bodhisattvas of the Earth are never defeated, no matter what difficulties they encounter. They are unwavering in their commitment, their lives filled with the joy and satisfaction of working to fulfil their noble vow for kosen-rufu.

"We cannot succeed in our endeavours if we give up halfway. We must remain true to our vow, especially when we face difficulties. Let's keep striving together and proclaim our triumph to the world."

SGI Newsletter No. 9439, Advancing with the Gosho: Words of Encouragement from SGI President Ikeda, (25) Carrying Out Our Vow for Kosen-rufu, from 9th July, 2016, issue of the Seikyo Shinbun, translation released 30th Aug. 2016
