-- TO MY FRIENDS --
A practitioner of Buddhism is one
who is constantly thinking about self improvement
and challenges all that lies ahead -
a champion certain to win in the end!
Let's together lead out our lives
full of pride in what we are striving for.

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"And yet, though one might point at the earth and miss it, though one might bind up the sky, though the tides might cease to ebb and flow and the sun rise in the west, it could never come about that the prayers of the practitioner of the Lotus Sutra would go unanswered."
(On Prayer
- WND, Vol. I, page 345)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Chile is a nation of passionate poetic spirit. The Nobel Prize–winning Chilean poet Pablo Neruda (1904–73) declared: "The individual is more powerful than any calamity."[1] No disaster, no tribulation, no misfortune can defeat humanity.
"Humanity's nobility lies in battling against adversity and triumphing over it.
"Nichiren Daishonin states: 'Buddhism primarily concerns itself with victory or defeat' (WND-1, 835). Both Buddhism and life are concerned with winning.
"…Each and every day, we have to fight against our own weaknesses, against wanting to just give up. Winning over ourselves is the most basic struggle of all.
"The ultimate driving force for victory in those struggles is faith—it is chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo.
"When you chant to the Gohonzon with the determination to win, and then take action to do just that, you can triumph in any sphere.
"Even if you fail to succeed in some challenge the first try, just pick yourself up and succeed the next time. If you lose today, win tomorrow. If you lose 99 out of 100 times but win the last time, then you have achieved victory. Such determined effort is what makes a person strong."
