-- TO MY FRIENDS --
The Gosho says: "Where there is unseen virtue,
there will be visible reward."
When we strive wholeheartedly for kosen-rufu
enduring hardships and challenges
at times unseen by anyone,
our lives are, in fact,
glowing with unlimited good fortune!
Today, once again let's not let up
in our efforts to advance!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"When you come of age and take faith in Buddhism, you must first of all think of paying the debt you owe to your father and mother. Mount Sumeru is paltry in comparison to the towering debt you owe your father; the great ocean is shallow compared to the profoundness of the debt you owe your mother. You must bear in mind these debts you owe to your father and mother."
("The Four Virtues and the Four Debts of Gratitude"
- WND-Vol 2, page 637)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Discussion meetings should be pleasant, enjoyable gatherings to which we can bring our friends. They should serve as bright sources of inspiration and energy for new members, and also leave members who are unable to regularly attend Gakkai activities feeling inspired and glad they made the effort to come. To create this kind of discussion meeting, those responsible for planning it will need to confer thoroughly and come up with content for the meeting that will best match or reflect the unique character of the particular region and local organisation.
"There are also other important practical steps leaders can take in the period leading up to the discussion meeting. For instance, taking the initiative to meet or contact the local members, showing care and support, will contribute to a more successful and satisfying meeting.
"We must also always show consideration to those who open their homes for Soka Gakkai activities. And since large numbers of members gather for meetings, we should be considerate of the neighbours, too."
SGI Newsletter No. 9417, Guidelines for Leaders Striving on the Front Lines of Kosen-rufu [Part 3 of 5] — Part 2 Activities — Home Visits and Encouragement, translation released 5th July, 2016
