-- WORDS OF THE WEEK --
It's through devoting ourselves to achieving kosen-rufu
that we very often encounter a great drama of
transforming our karma (into our mission).
By inspiring one another,
By inspiring one another,
let's advance together to the very end!
Today and all of this week,
Today and all of this week,
accumulating the benefits that surpass
a hundred years of practice in the Land of Bliss,*
let's strive together cheerfully and jofully!
*"A hundred years of practice in the Land of Perfect Bliss cannot compare to the benefit gained from one day's practice in the impure world."
let's strive together cheerfully and jofully!
*"A hundred years of practice in the Land of Perfect Bliss cannot compare to the benefit gained from one day's practice in the impure world."

"Dr. Joseph Rotblat (1908–2005), a Nobel Peace laureate and former president of the Pugwash Conferences who dedicated his noble life to the abolition of nuclear weapons, offered this message for future generations in a dialogue we conducted: 'Victory will never be achieved by opposing evil with the power of evil. It does not make sense to try to avoid war by using the threat of war.'[1]

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"The force to resist the 'power of evil' and change the tide of the times is found in the solidarity of people awakened to a global consciousness, recognising that we are all one human family. That was Dr. Rotblat's conclusion.
"To bring an end to the nuclear age, as President Toda highlighted in his declaration, it is necessary to deeply instil in every nation the awareness that nuclear weapons are an absolute evil and that their use is unacceptable for any reason. We must establish this as an unshakable principle shared by all humanity."
