--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"And yet, though one might point at the earth and miss it, though one might bind up the sky, though the tides might cease to ebb and flow and the sun rise in the west, it could never come about that the prayers of the practitioner of the Lotus Sutra would go unanswered."
(On Prayer
- WND, Vol. 1, page 345)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Inspiring and uplifting one another is vital to learning about faith and courageously carrying out our practice. By coming together to discuss and reaffirm the Daishonin's teachings, we can refresh our resolve and embark on new challenges.
"The Japanese word for Buddhist priest derives from an abbreviation of the Sanskrit word samgha, meaning the community of Buddhist practitioners. That abbreviation later came to refer also to individual practitioners [and then to priests exclusively]. Its origins, however, show that Buddhist practice is not something to be carried out in isolation, apart from others."
SGI Newsletter No. 9717, The New Human Revolution––Vol. 27: Chap. 3, Fierce Struggle 29, translation released 3rd Oct. 2017
