-- Words of the Week --
I would like to express my deepest appreciation
to all those members who are supporting
the advancement of the SGI
by working hard behind the scenes
to make meetings run smoothly,
The Daishonin teaches us,
"Where there is unseen virtue,
there will be visible reward."*
Making sure to stay healthy and accident free,
let's put the final touches
to a year full of victory and success!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Believe in this mandala with all your heart. Nam-myoho-renge-kyo is like the roar of a lion. What sickness can therefore be an obstacle?"

(Reply to Kyō'ō
- WND, Vol. 1, page 412)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"When we chant daimoku, our hearts are filled with delight. We experience the greatest of all joys. A powerful determination rises from deep inside our lives: 'I have tremendous potential!' 'I won't be defeated by obstacles!' That's why chanting daimoku makes us into champions who can create hope.

"In one of his works, the Mexican poet Octavio Paz (1914–98) declares to the spiritual darkness that tries to make people lose sight of the light of hope: 'In time each moment is the seed of eternity,' and 'We are children of time and time is hope.'[1]

"What matters is the present moment, not some other time in the future.

"Chanting daimoku and taking a step forwards now will open a future of hope that will shine forever."
