-- TO MY FRIENDS --
Our perfect unity with the spirit of
many in body but one in mind*
is the very driving force
for the expansion of the kosen-rufu movement.
Let's (discuss and) set the type of goals and targets
that everyone can understand
and share the commitment to,
let's also make them clear and specific!
Then by focusing our minds on our mutual goals,
let's all advance together aiming towards next year!
* "All disciples and lay supporters of Nichiren should chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo with the spirit of many in body but one in mind, transcending all differences among themselves to become as inseparable as fish and the water in which they swim."
- "The Heritage of the Ultimate Law of Life", WND-I, page 217
** In laying out ways to create a united organisation, President Ikeda often encourages us to have a clear purpose, listen to others, be open to dialogue, communicate information quickly and accurately, and support the central figure. This is how to 'become as inseparable as fish and the water in which they swim' and how to work harmoniously in the spirit of mutual respect and understanding.

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Exert yourself in the two ways of practice and study. Without practice and study, there can be no Buddhism. You must not only persevere yourself; you must also teach others. Both practice and study arise from faith. Teach others to the best of your ability, even if it is only a single sentence or phrase."
(The True Aspect of All Phenomena
- WND, Vol. 1, page 386)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Those with strong faith are the wealthiest of all. Please carry on with this conviction. Faith is conviction. Developing great conviction starts with accumulating many experiences in faith, even if they are just small ones to begin with. As you do, your conviction will also grow. Towards that end, it is important that your daily prayers are specific and concrete. Chant earnestly day after day to overcome each worry and difficulty you face. Your conviction will strengthen with every problem you resolve."
