-- TO MY FRIENDS --
The Daishonin states,
"Nam-myoho-renge-kyo is the greatest of all joys."*
Daimoku is the source of hope.
By chanting the Mystic Law ourselves
and spreading hope to others
teaching them to do the same,
let's have another day
teaching them to do the same,
let's have another day
filled with creating value!

"Now this place, too, is like that. It is the place of the cluster of blessings where the Buddhas and bodhisattvas dwell. The blessings of the Lotus Sutra, which I have recited over these many years, must be vaster even than the sky."

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Nichiren Daishonin writes: 'Although I and my disciples may encounter various difficulties, if we do not harbour doubts in our hearts, we will as a matter of course attain Buddhahood' (WND-1, 283).
"The Soka Gakkai is a gathering of champions who have internalised this passage. Undefeated by any hardship, our members have accumulated one experience of invincible faith after another. They have amassed boundless 'treasures of the heart' and limitlessly deepened their faith. They have forged faith that is pure, deep, and strong.
"The faith of Soka Gakkai members is imbued with wisdom to live based on the ultimate truth of the Mystic Law, courage to eradicate every form of misery, and compassion brimming with the conviction that all people are Buddhas. Their faith is firmly established, enabling them to attain a life state of eternal happiness."
