NHK - national government TV - has now put up a click on its main web-site where you can find where people have moved to in especially the most devastated areas. It is constantly being updated so if you need to find anyone and cannot find them today, come back later and you may find they are there. You'll need Japanese software to read and input. Here is today's To My Friends...
A translation of President Ikeda's "To My Friends" published in the Seikyo Shimbun and more.

-- TO MY FRIENDS --
We are all eternal comrades advancing together
throughout the three existences towards kosen-rufu.*
We are indeed the SGI family that transcends birth and death.
Let's always take the time out to encourage one another,
and to advance together brimming with great strength!
* The SGI is truly a sublime gathering of the Buddha's children. It is itself "the assembly on the Holy Peak that continues in solemn state and has not yet disbanded."
The SGI is a gathering of Bodhisattvas of the Earth who, just as in the ceremony on Eagle Peak, have appeared in order to lead all people of the Latter Day to enlightenment and so fulfil their eternal vow. We are eternal comrades advancing together over the three existences toward kosen-rufu. (Lectures on the "Expedient Means" and "Life Span" Chapters of the Lotus Sutra by Daisaku Ikeda, Vol. 3, page 129)
