-- TO MY FRIENDS --
Let's always hold well-planned and properly organised meetings.
Let's make our meetings vibrant and joyful
so much so that everyone comes away feeling:
"I'm so glad I came to this meeting!"
or "OK, I'm ready to take on that challenge!"
The time has come for us to get that momentum going
and launch a new powerful advancement!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"It is the power of the bow that determines the flight of the arrow, the might of the dragon that controls the movement of the clouds, and the strength of the wife that guides the actions of her husband."
(The Bow and Arrow - The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, Vol.1, page 656)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Remaining steadfast in faith is the most important thing in practicing the Lotus Sutra. The Daishonin warns that it is through the workings of the devil king of the sixth heaven--that is, fundamental darkness or ignorance--that the negative impulse to abandon faith in the Mystic Law arises in people's hearts.

"Fundamental darkness means to be ignorant of the fact that we are entities of the Mystic Law. It is the inability to truly accept the teaching that we possess within us the noble life-state of Buddhahood and have the power to overcome all difficulties. As a result, our hearts are clouded with fear and doubt and pervaded by resignation and despair. It is the power of faith or belief in the Mystic Law that dispels this fundamental darkness. As the Daishonin writes: 'The single word "belief" [or "faith"] is the sharp sword with which one confronts and overcomes fundamental darkness or ignorance' (OTT, 119-20), and 'To have faith is the basis of Buddhism' (WND-1, 832).

"As is so often confirmed by our members in their experiences in faith, it is precisely when we think we can't go on, when we feel hopeless and unable to find a way forwards, that we should open the Daishonin's writings, study the guidance of the SGI, and seek out encouragement from our fellow members in order to rouse and renew our faith.

"When we have deep faith in the Mystic Law within our lives and earnestly continue our Buddhist practice of chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo before the Gohonzon, something will definitely begin to change inside us. Our Buddha nature will manifest, joy and confidence will fill our hearts, and the courage to challenge ourselves will surge within us, The limitless wisdom and power of the Buddha for achieving absolute victory will also flow forth in our lives."
