--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"What is most important is that, by chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo alone, you can attain Buddhahood. It will no doubt depend on the strength of your faith. To have faith is the basis of Buddhism."
(The Real Aspect of the Gohonzon - The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, Vol.1, page 832)
Selection source: "Teachings of Buddhism", Seikyo Online, June, 2011

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"'The wheels that the wheel-turning sage kings possess when they make their appearance in the world, their "wheel treasures," are the words and sounds that we ourselves utter. And these sounds, our 'wheel treasures,' are Nam-myoho-renge-kyo.'
From The Record of the Orally Transmitted Teachings, p. 76.

"Our voices have the power to move others. Let's create the kind of humanistic gatherings which draw widespread admiration as microcosms of world peace.

"Actively meeting with people and conversing sincerely with them--such steady efforts to foster friendship and connect people to the Daishonin's Buddhism are truly noble. You are leading the way forwards as individuals who uphold the principle of the sanctity of life. You are ambassadors employing a heart-to-heart diplomacy."
