-- WORDS OF THE WEEK --
The Daishonin encourages us,
"If the spirit of many in body but one in mind
Unity is the source of hope.
Let's hold the type of harmonious discussion meetings
where everyone resultantly feels they can start anew

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Although I and my disciples may encounter various difficulties, if we do not harbour doubts in our hearts, we will as a matter of course attain Buddhahood. Do not have doubts simply because heaven does not lend you protection. Do not be discouraged because you do not enjoy an easy and secure existence in this life."
(The Opening of the Eyes - The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, Vol.1, page 283). Selection source: "Kyo no Hosshin", Seikyo Shimbun, August 25th, 2014

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"If we have strong and unwavering faith, we will definitely be able to open a way forwards in all our endeavours.
"No matter what our situation—even when something painful or unpleasant happens—the important thing is that we keep chanting daimoku. We should feel free to chant about anything and everything—chanting to the Gohonzon as if engaging in an inner conversation.
"The entire universe will move to fulfill our prayers, even though we may not be able to see it. Those who have struggled the most will come to lead the most inspiring lives.
"Everything begins from chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo."
