* We seem to have a bug in the system. Apologies for the second error! And thanks for everyone's great humour! SIRI is now being taught how to chant! …Have a great week!

-- TO MY FRIENDS --
If we try to talk to others
our circle of friends naturally develops and expands.
Every time when we speak with honest concern and a caring attitude,
the trust between us and others becomes stronger and deeper.
Let's take a courageous step forward
and get involved where the action is
promoting dialogue wherever we can with others!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Although I and my disciples may encounter various difficulties, if we do not harbour doubts in our hearts, we will as a matter of course attain Buddhahood. Do not have doubts simply because heaven does not lend you protection. Do not be discouraged because you do not enjoy an easy and secure existence in this life."
(The Opening of the Eyes- The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, Vol 1, Page 283)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"'Though I may be a person of little ability, I have reverently given myself to the study of the Mahayana. A blue fly, if it clings to the tail of a thoroughbred horse, can travel ten thousand miles, and the green ivy that twines around the tall pine can grow to a thousand feet.'
From "On Establishing the Correct Teaching for the Peace of the Land" (WND-1, 17).
"The renowned British historian Arnold J. Toynbee was among those sought to learn from the profound insights of Mahayana Buddhism.
"What wondrous karmic connections we must possess to have the fortune to study the essence of Mahayana Buddhism!
"Embracing the eternal teaching of respect for the dignity of life, we can attain a boundless state of eternal happiness.
"Based on the Daishonin's unsurpassed principle of 'establishing the correct teaching for the peace of the land,' we can build an unsurpassed network for peace.
"By practicing the world's foremost philosophy, we can advance serenely, covering vast distances."
