--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"The place where the person upholds and honours the Lotus Sutra is the 'place of practice' to which the person proceeds. It is not that he leaves his present place and goes to some other place. The "place of practice" is the place where the living beings of the Ten Worlds reside."

(Ongi kuden - Gosho Zenshu, page 781,
The Record of the Orally Transmitted Teachings, page 192)

—— DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"How we begin each day is crucial. Let's start off the morning with the vigour of the rising sun. Doing gongyo and chanting daimoku awakens and revitalises our lives.

"The busier we get and the greater the challenges we face, the more important it is for us to win in the morning….

"The historic Osaka Campaign of 1956 also began with chanting vigorously each morning. That's how we were able to make the impossible possible. We were able to achieve a monumental victory that will shine for all eternity.

"When we engage in a struggle for kosen-rufu, the three obstacles and four devils will invariably arise to assail us. Every day is an earnest challenge. That's why it's essential that we chant powerful daimoku.

"Through employing the strategy of the Lotus Sutra—chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo—let's strive to transform even opponents into allies for our movement."

SGI Newsletter No. 9121, Humanistic Teachings for Victory, Continue Winning through Perseverance, Win with Morning Gongyo and Daimoku, from 5th Dec., 2012, issue of the Soka Shimpo, the Soka Gakkai youth division's fortnightly newspaper, translation released 19th Nov., 2014
