--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"I am praying that, no matter how troubled the times may become, the Lotus Sutra and the ten demon daughters will protect all of you, praying as earnestly as though to produce fire from damp wood, or to obtain water from parched ground."

(On Rebuking Slander of the Law and Eradicating Sins
- The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, page 444)
Selection source: "Kyo no Hosshin", Seikyo Shimbun,

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"The Law is important, but it is spread by people. That makes the effort to foster capable people the supreme source of unseen virtue—leading to truly immeasurable visible reward.

"My mentor, second Soka Gakkai president Josei Toda, encouraged members, saying: 'Advance steadily and surely. If you strive for kosen-rufu and foster your juniors with more dedication than anyone, you'll also receive more benefit than anyone!'"

SGI Newsletter No. 9120, Appreciation for Those Making Noble Efforts Behind the Scenes, from the December 2014 issue of the Daibyakurenge, translation released 18th Nov., 2014
