-- TO MY FRIENDS --
When it comes to tackling our shortcomings,
let's attack them boldly and tenaciously!
It's when we shatter these walls that hold us back
that we can experience true growth.
Let's always live a life of continuous improvement!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"(When the bodhisattva Never Disparaging makes his bow of obeisance to the four kinds of believers, the Buddha nature inherent in the four kinds of believers of overbearing arrogance is bowing in obeisance to the bodhisattva Never Disparaging.) It is like the situation when one faces a mirror and makes a bow of obeisance: the image in the mirror likewise makes a bow of obeisance to oneself."
The Two Kinds of Faith - The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, Vol.1, page 899
Selection source: Teachings of Buddhism, Seikyo Shimbun, October 28th, 2014

—— DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"With whomever I meet, I always put my whole life into that encounter, thinking that I may never have the chance to meet that person again.
"Our earnest care and concern is what truly touches others' hearts. Our sincere wish for their happiness rouses their spirits.
"Showing utmost care and consideration for each person's situation is extremely important. It should be our main focus. The SGI has developed to the extent that it has because we have steadfastly adhered to this spirit.
"Earnest prayers and sincere actions inspire others and advance our movement for worldwide kosen-rufu."
SGI Newsletter No. 9114, Advancing Worldwide Kosen-rufu through One-on-One Interactions, from the February 2014 issue of the Daibyaku-renge, translation released 30th Oct., 2014.
