--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"This life is like a dream. One cannot be sure that one will live until tomorrow. However wretched a beggar you might become, never disgrace the Lotus Sutra."

(A Warning against Begrudging One's Fief- The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, Vol. 1, page 824) Selection source: "Kyo no Hosshin", Seikyo Shimbun, November 7th, 2014

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"For a rainbow to shine in the sky, we also need the sun.

"Encouraging a disciple who was facing difficulties, Nichiren Daishonin writes: "Suffer what there is to suffer, enjoy what there is to enjoy. Regard both suffering and joy as facts of life, and continue chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, no matter what happens" (WND-1, 681).

"By chanting daimoku, we can create the most positive value from everything in our lives, including our strengths and weaknesses, joys and sorrows, and pleasures and sufferings. Those who chant daimoku, irrespective of their situations, make the sun rise steadily in the sky of their hearts and are able to produce a rainbow of victory."
