To all of my dear and trusted fellow members of the Great Chubu,* with your courage and valour and great command of speech, may you all prove to be the true strength of your stronghold! *Chubu Soka Gakkai consists of Aichi,Gifu and Mie prefectures Friday, March 20th, 2015 --- DAILY GOSHO --- "…they should remain faithful to their belief in the Lotus Sutra and make their way to Eagle Peak, so that they may lead their wives and children there as well." It is to realise lasting world peace and the happiness of humanity by establishing in people's hearts the principles of Nichiren Buddhism, which constitutes the essence of the Lotus Sutra and a great teaching of universal enlightenment. "The Daishonin declares: "'I, Nichiren, conscious of the age [or time] we live in, now wish to give wide propagation to this doctrine [of the Three Great Secret Laws].' (WND-2, 988; "On the Receiving of the Three Great Secret Laws") "'Can there be any doubt that . . . the great pure Law of the Lotus Sutra [Nam-myoho-renge-kyo] will be spread far and wide throughout Japan and all the other countries of Jambudvipa [the entire world]?' (WND-1, 550; "The Selection of the Time") "The Daishonin embarked on a struggle to spread the Mystic Law to relieve the suffering of all people in the Latter Day of the Law, and vowed to ensure its propagation throughout the entire world. The Soka Gakkai, a humanistic religious organisation dedicated to the happiness of all humanity, emerged to fulfil this momentous vow of the Daishonin. "Nikko Shonin, the direct disciple and successor who faithfully upheld the correct teaching and doctrines of the Daishonin, wrote in a document known as 'The Twenty-six Admonitions of Nikko': 'Until kosen-rufu is achieved, propagate the Law to the full extent of your ability without begrudging your life' (GZ, 1618)."
