-- TO MY FRIENDS --
When we try to encourage someone,
the most important thing is to listen
rather than trying to tell them too many things.
When we show our sincere empathy and understanding,
they will feel relieved and inspired
to determine to challenge their circumstances.
Let's become leaders who are experts at
compassionately guiding people
on the correct path of faith and practice!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Concerning prayer, there are conspicuous prayer and conspicuous response, conspicuous prayer and inconspicuous response, inconspicuous prayer and inconspicuous response, and inconspicuous prayer and conspicuous response. But the only essential point is that, if you believe in this sutra, all your desires will be fulfilled in both the present and the future."

(Letter to the Lay Priest Dōmyō
- WND, Vol. 1, page 750)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"The Bodhisattvas of the Earth are true experts in dialogue. The Lotus Sutra describes them as being "clever at difficult questions and answers, / their minds know no fear. / They have firmly cultivated persevering minds" (LSOC15, 263). Through our Buddhist practice of sharing Nichiren Buddhism with others, we can transform our own state of life and create a life of great human revolution based on compassion."

SGI Newsletter No. 9710, The Buddhism of the Sun—Illuminating the World, [22] A Religion of Human Revolution—Part 2, "The Buddha Mind Is a Mind of Great Pity and Compassion," from the February 2017 issue of the Daibyakurenge, translation released 20th Sep. 2017
