-- TO MY FRIENDS --
Good health is the very enabler
of great advancement!
Be extremely mindful of changes in temperature
at this time of the year.
Let's monitor our health carefully,
so as not to catch a cold.
And live our lives based
on a proper daily rhythm!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"What a joy it is for us to have been born in the Latter Day of the Law and to have shared in the propagation of the Lotus Sutra! How pitiful are those who, though born in this time, cannot believe in this sutra!"

(Letter to Niike
- WND, Vol.1, page 1026)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"The times when you run into a wall or face obstacles are actually opportunities to open up your life.

"Ginko Ogino (1851–1913), once said: 'People feeling hurt has been happening for thousands of years. But getting hurt and feeling discouraged often polish people into precious gems.'[1]

"Those who refuse to be defeated, no matter what, can polish themselves into shining gems.

"Nichiren Daishonin praised Shijo Kingo—who remained true to his faith and continued to protect his fellow disciples, no matter how he was criticised—as 'a man who never gives in to defeat" (WND-1, 955).'

SGI Newsletter No. 9740, Rainbow of Hope—Great Figures of the World, [31] Ginko Ogino, First Woman Physician in Japan: Become a Person Who Never Gives In to Defeat, from 1st October, 2016, issue of Boys and Girls Hope News, translation released 13th Nov. 2017
