-- TO MY FRIENDS --
It's our serious single-minded chanting
in the morning
that enables us to bring forth
the strong life force for the day.
Let's become champions of humanity
with warm enriched hearts
that can find hope and joy
even in our normal daily situations!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"It is said that, if a teacher has a good disciple, both will gain the fruit of Buddhahood."

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"What is the key for opening the 'palace of oneself?' It is, the Daishonin states, 'becoming aware of the vehicle within oneself' (cf. OTT, 209). In other words, it is having the unshakeable conviction that we ourselves embody the Mystic Law, Nam-myoho-renge-kyo.
"Mr. Toda used to say: 'You have to be resolved that Nam-myoho-renge-kyo is your own life!'
"Putting yourself down, thinking you'll never become happy, amounts to doubting the Mystic Law and throwing away the key to attaining Buddhahood that you hold in your own hands. You must never belittle yourself or regard yourself as inferior.
"The Daishonin writes: '(Shakyamuni) declared that "not a one will fail to attain brotherhood" (LSOC2, 75). That is, he taught that of those who so much as one time pronounce the words Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, not one will fail to become a Buddha' (WND-2, 1081; 'Not a one will fail to attain Buddha-hood').
"Therefore, once we have embraced faith in the Mystic Law, there is no hardship or obstacle we cannot overcome. We have a mission to become happy without fail and to help others do the same."
The Buddhism of the Sun - Illuminating the World, (25) A Religion of Human revolution - Part 5, The Indestructible Palace within Our Lives, from the May edition of the Daibyakurenge 2017, translation released January 2018
