-- TO MY FRIENDS --
The Daishonin teaches us,
"Where there is unseen virtue,
there will be visible reward."*
The lives of those
who are constantly making steady efforts
and working hard for the sake of kosen-rufu,
even if no one recognises their efforts at all,
are ensured of immeasurable benefits
and good fortune.
Let's proudly walk along the path
of the vow we have made!

 --- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Though I may be a person of little ability, I have reverently given myself to the study of the Mahayana. A blue fly, if it clings to the tail of a thoroughbred horse, can travel ten thousand miles, and the green ivy that twines around the tall pine can grow to a thousand feet."

- WND, Vol. 1, page 17)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"In times of adversity, have the courage to persevere; at moments of opportunity, have the courage to act boldly. Whatever happens, have the wisdom to advance calmly and vigilantly.

"All of you have the good fortune of being able to chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo. When you sit in front of the Gohonzon and and chant daimoku, you can tap unlimited wisdom and courage from within yourselves. Therefore, there is no need to fret or worry."
