-- TO MY FRIENDS --
"I'm determined to make every possible effort to help
the growth of our newer members,
who respectively have great noble missions to fulfil,
so that they can become even more capable than I am."
Such a strong prayer and sense of responsibility
is what opens up the way to a great future.
Together, let's all grow in our faith and practice!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"If a person cannot manage to cross a moat ten feet wide, how can he cross one that is a hundred or two hundred feet?"

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"If a person cannot manage to cross a moat ten feet wide, how can he cross one that is a hundred or two hundred feet?"

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"The 'Emerging from the Earth' (15th) chapter of the Lotus Sutra describes the emergence of Bodhisattvas of the Earth 'as numerous as the sands of sixty thousand Ganges Rivers' (LSOC15, 252)—that is, infinite in number. Each of these bodhisattvas is also described as having 'a retinue equal to the sands of sixty thousand Ganges Rivers' (LSOC15, 252). 'Retinue' here means companions or fellow travellers through life, people who have a past connection to the Buddha's teachings. Each Bodhisattva of the Earth has an unending capacity to teach countless individuals about Buddhism, encourage them, and inspire them to stand up and work for kosen-rufu.

"A single drop of water can lead to the creation of a river as mighty as the Ganges. Similarly, each individual has limitless potential and their life has incomparable worth.
"Our members in India have deep conviction in this truth. That is why hope-filled encouragement has spread from one person to another and so many capable Bodhisattvas of the Earth with an awareness of their mission have emerged there.
"This is the direct and unchanging path to kosen-rufu. As Nichiren Daishonin writes: 'At first only Nichiren chanted Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, but then two, three, and a hundred followed, chanting and teaching others. Propagation will unfold this way in the future as well. Does this not signify "emerging from the earth"?' (WND-1, 385)."
