-- TO MY FRIENDS --
It's when those in supportive or assisting positions
courageously stand up
and enthusiastically fulfil their roles,
that the momentum for our advancement
greatly accelerates.
Let's be perfectly united in mind
with the central figures in our activities
and create a totally new history of kosen-rufu!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Therefore, the best way to attain Buddhahood is to encounter a good friend."
(Three Tripitaka Masters Pray for Rain
- WND, Vol 1, page 598)
Selection source: February Gosho study meetings,
Seikyo Shimbun, Jan. 23rd, 2016

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"A truly happy person is one who remains undefeated, no matter what happens. Ultimately, unless we win over ourselves, over our own weaknesses, we won't be able to open the way to true happiness.

"Kosen-rufu also moves forwards through winning. Winning makes our Buddhahood shine forth from within. Attaining Buddhahood is just another way of describing true victory.

"Let's all win! To win, it is essential to chant daimoku and forge inner strength.

"Soviet cosmonaut Yury Gagarin (1934–68), who was the first person to fly into space, declared: 'Success favours the bold.'[1] Success does not favour the timid—it flees from them! Be bold and courageous. Faith is the highest form of courage. Courage is the heart of Buddhism."

SGI Newsletter No. 9344, from the 15th Soka Gakkai Headquarters Leaders Meeting, 6th Feb., 2008, featured during the 15th Soka Gakkai Headquarters Leaders Meeting of the New Era of Worldwide Kosen-rufu, 9th Jan., 2016, translation released 21st Jan. 2016
