-- TO MY FRIENDS --
Bursting with the spirit to learn more,
let's actively and cheerfully advance!
The Daishonin encourages us,
"It is the heart that is important."
When we participate in activities,
happily and enthusiastically,
our lives shine with even more
benefit and good fortune.

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Members of an SGI youth delegation who were invited to India last November (2015) by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) sent me joyful reports saying that wherever they went, they received a warm welcome and felt the Indian members' dynamic, youthful commitment to expand our movement for kosen-rufu.
"Why has the membership in India grown so much? When asked about this by the visiting youth delegation, the local members responded with pride that they all viewed kosen-rufu as their personal mission and took action to realise it; no one left it up to someone else to do.
"Mahatma Gandhi (1869–1948) stated: 'The greatest [people] of the world have always stood alone.'[1] I wish to declare that our members striving for kosen-rufu with a stand-alone spirit are the greatest and most respect-worthy people in the world."
