-- TO MY FRIENDS --
To those students who are going to take
upcoming school entrance exams,
never be defeated, never give in.
A glorious spring is certain to arrive
if you patiently continue to put forth your best.
May you all, without exception,
be victorious in overcoming this challenging winter.

--- DAILY GOSHO ---

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"'From the very moment of one's birth, [one] is accompanied by two messengers, Same Birth and Same Name, who are sent by heaven and who follow one as closely as one's own shadow, never parting from one even for an instant.'

- From "The Gods Same Birth and Same Name,"
(WND-1, 316).

"These are words of praise for Nichigen-nyo, who sent her husband, Shijo Kingo, to visit Nichiren Daishonin in his place of exile on Sado Island.

"Thanks to the tremendous efforts made by all of you—especially, our women's division members—we have achieved truly phenomenal dynamic development in our movement for worldwide kosen-rufu this year.

"The heavenly deities—the protective forces of the universe—are surely applauding the countless unseen efforts that you, our dedicated members, have made. All Buddhas and bodhisattvas are most certainly aware of your sincere devotion.

"No effort you make in your SGI activities is ever wasted. Working for kosen-rufu will unfailingly imbue your lives with good fortune and benefit. You will also be blessed with the appreciation and praise of others."
