-- TO MY FRIENDS --
People happily want to gather in a place
which feels bright and cheerful.
The more joy and sense of appreciation we have,
the more benefit and good fortune we accumulate.
Together, let's strive to build a land
which is at peace and is happy!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"It is said that, if a teacher has a good disciple, both will gain the fruit of Buddhahood, but if a teacher fosters a bad disciple, both will fall into hell. If teacher and disciple are of different minds, they will never accomplish anything."

- WND, Vol. I, page 909)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"In 'Reply to the Lay Nun Nichigon,' the Daishonin likens the power of the Gohonzon to the moon, comparing weak faith to muddied water that does not reflect the moon, and brave, or pure, faith to clear water that brightly reflects the moon.

"He also likens the principles of Buddhism to trees and the practice of reciting the Lotus Sutra to the wind that stirs the trees. Chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo before the Gohonzon for our own and others' happiness, and striving based on the Daishonin's writings will open the way to a life of victory rich with benefit, in which all our desires are fulfilled. This is in complete accord with the Daishonin's words: 'If one can move Shakyamuni Buddha, the lord of teachings, can the grass and trees fail to respond. . . ?' (WND-2, 811).

"Everything starts with prayer. No matter what the time or situation, let's always set forth positively with strong prayer and with pure, courageous faith, chanting with a vow for kosen-rufu. This is the essence of faith for absolute victory."
