-- TO MY FRIENDS --
Let's exercise the utmost of caution in the face of heavy snow and strong winds,
never taking unnecessary chances or putting ourselves in harms way.
Actions must be based on safety first!
I am chanting for the absolute safety of all our members
especially the deliverers of our newspaper and other SGI publications!

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"It is important for each person to stand up to fulfil their personal vow in the place where they are now. It is time for each person to resolutely launch a new struggle to realise the great vow for kosen-rufu.

"The founding spirit of the Soka Gakkai pulses vibrantly in the hearts of those who have the courage to do this. Their efforts will inspire one person after another to work for kosen-rufu, giving rise to a vast multitude of practitioners of the Lotus Sutra who directly follow the example of Nichiren Daishonin."

SGI Newsletter No. 9143, Learning from the Writings of Nichiren Daishonin: The Teachings for Victory, Stand Up with Courage!—The Spirit of Soka Will Usher In a Triumphant Revival of Humanity, from the November 2014 issue of the Daibyakurenge, translation released 16th Dec., 2014
