-- TO MY FRIENDS --
Let's always remember to express our utmost appreciation
to those members who are so kind to offer their homes for our meetings.
At the same time let's be sure to offer words of sincere gratitude
to their family members who are also kindly supporting our activities!
It's precisely because we have such treasure castles
that we can make great advancement in our own local kosen-rufu.

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"And now the place where Nichiren and his followers chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, "whether . . . in mountain valleys or the wide wilderness" (chapter twenty-one, Supernatural Powers), these places are all the Land of Eternally Tranquil Light."

(Chapter Twenty-eight:
Encouragements of the Bodhisattva Universal Worthy
- The Record of the Orally Transmitted Teachings, page 192)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Concrete action is more important than the most high-sounding theories.

"Peace is not something removed from our daily lives. It starts with being firmly rooted in our communities and treasuring each individual. Developing heart-to-heart bonds with others in the place where we are right now—by opening our hearts, acting in friendship, and using our wisdom—is the surest way to build peace."

SGI Newsletter No. 9156, Humanistic Teachings for Victory, Be People Who Can Contribute to World Peace, Thinking Globally, Acting Locally, translation released 19th Dec., 2014
