-- TO MY FRIENDS --
The Daishonin encourages us to
be diligent in developing our faith until
the last moment of our lives.*
The crown of glory and victory
only shines on the heads of those who "continue"
to challenge themselves.
Let's continually devote ourselves to achieving kosen-rufu
until the very last moment of our lives!

---- DAILY GOSHO ---
"The single word 'identical' is symbolic of Nam-myoho-renge-kyo."

(Chapter Seven: The Parable of the Phantom City - The Record of the Orally Transmitted Teachings, page 72)Selection source: "Myoji no Gen", Seikyo Shimbun, Dec 13th, 2014

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"'Strengthen your resolve [i.e., your faith] more than ever. Ice is made of water, but it is colder than water. Blue dye comes from indigo, but when something is repeatedly dyed in it, the colour is better than that of the indigo plant.'

From "The Supremacy of the Law" (WND-1, 615).

"The essence of faith lies in always striving 'more than ever.' In the same letter, while praising the recipient on her dedicated practice thus far, the Daishonin also urges: 'Now you must strengthen it [your faith] more than ever' (WND-1, 614).

"When we deepen our prayer and challenge our situation with the resolve that everything starts from now, we can break through all obstacles.

"We practise the Buddhism of true cause. I hope you will greet each new day with fresh courage and continue to forge ahead with ever stronger faith. May you and the entire Soka family become bluer than the indigo!"
