— TO MY FRIENDS --
The Daishonin encourages us to
diligently polish our mirror day and night.*
No one is a match for someone
who devotes themselves to chanting daimoku,
no matter what happens!
Let's unceasingly continue our faith and practice.
*"Arouse deep faith, and diligently polish your mirror day and night. How should you polish it? Only by chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo." - "On Attaining Buddhahood in This Lifetime", WND-I, page 4

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"This life is like a dream. One cannot be sure that one will live until tomorrow. However wretched a beggar you might become, never disgrace the Lotus Sutra. Since it will be the same in any event, do not betray grief. Just as you have written in your letter, you must act and speak without the least servility. If you try to curry favour, the situation will only worsen."
(A Warning against Begrudging One's Fief - The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, Volume 1, page 824)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"The driving force for changing suffering into joy and adversity into the energy for dynamic development is our Buddhist practice and SGI activities.
