-- TO MY FRIENDS --
Let's give our very best support to the development of
our Future Division members (school students).
The caring efforts we make with sincere concern for them
is certain to have a lasting effect on their youthful hearts.
Let's offer them all the warm encouragement
and kind support we can so that every one of them
develops into a capable successor of kosen-rufu!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"But how fortunate, how joyous, to think that with this unworthy body I have received in my heart the seeds of Buddhahood!"

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"The path to achieving kosen-rufu is long—continuing far into the distant future. The key to progressing on this path will always be one-on-one encouragement.

"Based on the Buddhist spirit of encouragement, we of the SGI have produced an unending stream of people who are self-reliant, awakened to their mission, and strive to realise happiness for themselves and others—people who are working to create value and contribute to world peace.

"Of course, our pioneer members, Bodhisattvas of the Earth, endured countless indescribable hardships before the SGI achieved the global development it has today. Remaining impervious to prejudice and criticism and triumphing over opposition and harassment, they have accumulated eternal good fortune and benefit that will definitely flow on to all with whom they share a connection and will illuminate their communities into the distant future.

"Declaring that kosen-rufu is a momentous struggle, my mentor, second Soka Gakkai president Josei Toda, called on us to forge ahead with the strong, unshakable, persevering spirit of invincible champions."

SGI Newsletter No. 9254, Learning from the Writings of Nichiren Daishonin: The Teachings for Victory, [67] "The Two Kinds of Faith." Forging Ahead with a Strong, Unshakable, Persevering Spirit, from the October 2014 issue of the Daibyaku-renge, translation released 11th June, 2015
