"The Daishonin asserts that the Mystic Law—the fundamental Law of the universe—and Buddhist practice based on that Law are the source of 'the beneficial power to open the blind eyes of every living being in the country of Japan' (WND-1, 736). We can read 'Japan' in this statement to mean 'the entire world.' With strong faith in the Mystic Law, we can break through the ignorance of fundamental darkness and awaken to and reveal the Buddhahood within us. Every one of us can bring the sun to shine brightly within our lives."
