-- TO MY FRIENDS --
Those who are forever taking on new challenges
never lament or complain.
Their lives are always pulsating

-- TO MY FRIENDS --
Those who are forever taking on new challenges
never lament or complain.
Their lives are always pulsating
with an overflowing fresh enthusiastic spirit.
Let's refresh our resolve
Let's refresh our resolve
and rejuvenate our determination once again,
as we continue to advance, then advance yet again!
as we continue to advance, then advance yet again!

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"In The Record of the Orally Transmitted Teachings, the Daishonin says in relation to Bodhisattva Wonderful Sound:
"'We may say that the words "wonderful sound" refer to the unfathomable and wonderful sound made at the present time, in the Latter Day of the Law, when Nichiren and his followers now chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo. Therefore it is the wonderful sound that tells us that earthly desires are enlightenment, and that the sufferings of birth and death are nirvana.' (OTT, 176)

"We chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, the most wonderful sound of all. That is why no matter what problems or obstacles arise in our lives or in society, we can steadily and unflinchingly transform each and every one of them into the wisdom for happiness, and elevate our state of life and help others do the same. The greater the challenge, the greater the treasures of the heart we can accumulate.
"Chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, which is 'like the roar of a lion' (OTT, 152), let's tirelessly reach out to others in dialogue—our voices resounding with encouragement, friendship, and courage. And let's strive with ever stronger commitment to build and expand on our planet a Land of Eternally Tranquil Light where justice, humanity, and peace prevail."
