A translation of President Ikeda's "Words of the Week"
published in the Seikyo Shinbun and more.

January 30th - February 5th, 2017
-- WORDS OF THE WEEK --
Ah, February,
our traditional month for doing shakubuku,* is here!
Through the sincere caring heart-to-heart
dialogue we have with others,
the power to break through the limits and barriers
that we ourselves have built is brought forth.
By increasing the amount
of determined daimoku we chant
and summoning up even greater courage,
let's make the only memory of our present lives in this human world.**

**"Single-mindedly chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo and urge others to do the same; that will remain as the only memory of your present life in this human world. Questions and Answers about Embracing the Lotus Sutra
