-- TO MY FRIENDS --
The bond between people is the base
on which the safety of local communities sits on.
It's vital that we exchange even a few words
of care for each other in everyday life.
With heart-to-heart communications,
let's build the type of network that gives
peace and assurance to absolutely everyone
in our local community!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"And yet, though one might point at the earth and miss it, though one might bind up the sky, though the tides might cease to ebb and flow and the sun rise in the west, it could never come about that the prayers of the practitioner of the Lotus Sutra would go unanswered."
(On Prayer

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Personal suffering helps us understand the suffering of others. Our problems only make us stronger.
"President Toda had lost a child, had experienced repeated crises with his businesses, and had been imprisoned for two years for his faith in the Lotus Sutra. He later reflected that these experiences of sorrow, grief, and hardship, and of surmounting countless daunting challenges, made him ideally qualified to be the Soka Gakkai's president.
"The renowned French writer Victor Hugo declared: 'Great sufferings swell the soul to gigantic proportions.'[1]
"Towards that end, it is important to offer wholehearted encouragement to people facing such sufferings, to infuse their lives with courage and hope, so they are not defeated.
"Guidance in faith must be based on the Gosho, the writings of Nichiren Daishonin. The ability to give inspiring guidance is not developed by just relying on personal judgments and opinions, but has to be honed through striving in the two ways of practice and study within the organisation for kosen-rufu."
