--- DAILY GOSHO ---

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Nichiren Daishonin writes: 'One is the mother of ten thousand' (WND-1, 131). The dynamic development of the new era of worldwide kosen-rufu also starts from the actions of a single individual. It starts from standing up as an individual, speaking to one person, encouraging one person, igniting the torch of hope in the heart of one person.

"We are still in the very earliest stages of this new era. We are certain to encounter obstacles in our path and be assailed by storms of tribulation. However, as the British philosopher Bertrand Russell (1872–1970) observed: 'Hope, not fear, is the creative principle in human affairs.'[1]"

SGI Newsletter No. 9192, The Song of Human Victory, Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the SGI, from 22nd Jan., 2015, issue of the Seikyo Shimbun, translation released 31st Jan. 2015
