-- TO MY FRIENDS --
It's getting to the time of wide fluctuations in the temperatures.
Always try to take good care of yourself!
Let's walk the grand path of kosen-rufu
with a youthful spirit and high life condition
keeping good health as our top priority every single day!

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"Every field—be it the arts, sports, or academia—requires earnest application and all-out effort to be successful.
"Similarly, to attain Buddhahood, we have to apply ourselves in our Buddhist practice.
"What is the essence of our Buddhist practice?
"In a letter addressed to Shijo Kingo, a samurai disciple from Kanagawa, the Daishonin clearly states:
"The heart of the Buddha's lifetime of teachings is the Lotus Sutra, and the heart of the practice of the Lotus Sutra is found in the "[Bodhisattva] Never Disparaging" chapter. What does Bodhisattva Never Disparaging's profound respect for people signify? The purpose of the appearance in this world of Shakyamuni Buddha, the lord of teachings, lies in his behaviour as a human being. (WND-1, 851–52)
"The highest form of Buddhist practice, as taught in the Lotus Sutra, is behaving in a way that is respectful of others."
