--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"However, even a stranger, if you open up your heart to him, may be willing to lay down his life for you."

(On Rebuking Slander of the Law and Eradicating Sins
- The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, Vol. 1, page 444)

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"When we strive for kosen-rufu, we will not fail to receive benefit.

"The important thing is for each member to chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, exert themselves to the fullest extent of their abilities toward realising their goals. And then, when they have accomplished them, to sit down in front of the Gohonzon invigorated and say to themselves, 'I gave it my all. I have no regrets!' Repeating this process of challenge and accomplishment again and again is the way to triumphantly ascend the successive mountains of kosen-rufu.

"Let's keep pressing forwards, ever forwards! We are a family from time without beginning. Working together in harmony and joy, let's talk with as many people as possible about Nichiren Buddhism.

"Our warmhearted, humanistic grassroots gatherings are the most powerful driving force for kosen-rufu.

"Everything is part of our Buddhist practice for attaining the eternal life state of Buddhahood. Sharing one another's joys and sorrows, let us take great pride in our efforts to build a magnificent citadel of Soka that will endure for all time.
