-- TO MY FRIENDS --
Having studied Buddhism itself,
we have made the cause to accumulate
immeasurable "treasures of the heart."
Now more strongly and cheerfully than ever,
let's lead a life of the greatest joy
and help our fellow members to do the same,
without leaving anyone behind!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Buddhism is like the body, and society like the shadow. When the body bends, so does the shadow."

(A Comparison of the Lotus and Other Sutras
- WND, Vol. II, page 882)
Selection source: "Suntetsu",
Seikyo Shinbun, November 26th, 2016

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"'The [Lotus Sutra] says, "Sometimes I speak of myself, sometimes of others" [LSOC16, 267]. Thus the world of Buddhahood contains the Ten Worlds.'
-From "The Object of Devotion for Observing the Mind" (WND-1, 357).

"According to the Lotus Sutra, the Buddha appears in various forms in the Ten Worlds, preaching the Law and guiding people to enlightenment. He utilises all of the Ten Worlds as a source of wisdom to help free others from suffering.

"The same principle applies to our own lives. The greater the problems and challenges we experience, the more we can understand and empathise with other people's pain and suffering. Through making unsparing efforts for kosen-rufu, we can truly appreciate the hard work of our fellow members.

"All the struggles we undergo have deep meaning. We can transform them into a positive force for realising our noble mission for compassionately spreading our movement for kosen-rufu. This is the power of the Mystic Law, which can change poison into medicine."
