-- TO MY FRIENDS --
We can create maximum value in life
within a very short period of time using this faith.
This is the great joy of
practising the Daishonin's Buddhism!
To the extent that we lead a busy life,
let's always remember to go back to the basic point
of chanting daimoku resolutely and sincerely!

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"(it is not one's allies but) one's powerful enemies who assist one's progress."

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"The Daishonin inscribed the Gohonzon for the happiness of all people. When we chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo to the Gohonzon and come into contact with the enlightened life state of the Daishonin embodied therein, we cannot fail to become happy. The Buddha of the Latter Day of the Law is certain to protect those who take action as his emissaries to advance kosen-rufu.
"Strength or depth of faith cannot be measured by superficial markers. For example, the Daishonin does not specifically instruct us on how long we should chant, and so on. Of course, it's important that we set personal targets for the amount of daimoku we want to chant. That doesn't mean, however, that we should overdo things and force ourselves to chant when we are too tired or sleepy to do so, just because of some arbitrary quota we've set for ourselves. It might be more productive and valuable if we get some rest and chant the next morning, when we are refreshed in mind and body.
"The Daishonin also teaches that chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo even once has immeasurable benefit.
"Elsewhere, he writes: "The neighing of the white horses [that revitalises King Rinda] is the sound of our voices chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo"[1] (WND-1, 989; "King Rinda"). Let's bring forth powerful life force by chanting vibrant and refreshing daimoku with the rhythm of a magnificent steed galloping across the open plains.
"Please remember that we are practising this Buddhism in order to realise happiness for ourselves and others.

[1] In "King Rinda," the Daishonin writes that when King Rinda heard the white horses neighing: "[His] complexion was restored to its original state, like the sun reemerging from an eclipse, and the strength of his body and the perceptive powers of his mind became many hundreds and thousands of times greater than they had been before" (WND-1, 986).
